On the character sheet, the 1st level spell selected as part of the magic initiative feat only appears as the USE once per long rest varient. The CAST using a spell slot entry is missing from the list.
Yeah, that’s a current site limitation. They add both when a feature gives a specific spell, but it’s not currently possible when the player chooses their own spell.
You can click the spell slot itself to mark it as used instead, though.
