I am able to edit my opening post here, and I am edit opening posts in older threads created by me. Of course I am using an adblocker, but even with it disabled I am not able to edit the linked opening post.
One trick I've found for things is try to open the 'edit' in a new tab. You'll get a page that looks very strange and only shows source text, but you can edit it.
Sometimes some formatting somewhere breaks being able to edit it in rich text. As you can see I've been able to edit your text in this fashion.
I cannot edit my opening post in this thread: https://www.dndbeyond.com/forums/dungeons-dragons-discussion/homebrew-house-rules/225267-competition-of-the-finest-brews-xxviii
Editing it is kinda crucial for the contest to update the list of participants.
I have tested different devices and I know that the last contest's creator had a similar issue, so it's not on my side, but on DnD Beyond's.
Are you able to edit your post here? Also, do you use any extensions like an adblocker or anything else that may interact with the website itself?
