Pretty straight forward, paid for the book where the subclass or monastic tradition (way of shadow) is officially presented yet it is not available when creating the character. Very disappointed.
You might have selected the 2024 Monk class, which if you don't own the 2024 Player's Handbook, will only show the one subclass from the free Basic Rules.
Try removing the class you have selected, scrolling down to the 2014 Core Rules section, and selecting the other Rogue class there. If you don't see it, make sure "2014 Core Rules" is enabled in the Sources section of the Home tab of the character builder.
