Okay, I might just be straight up stupid or something but for the life of me I cannot figure out what is wrong here and I don't really want to sit around for 3+ weeks for a support ticket to maybe get answered. Before the new marketplace dropped and piecemeal purchases were halted, I bought the subclass bundles from Xanathar's Guide and Tasha's Cauldron in July 2023 and August 2023, respectively.
When the new 2024 versions of all of the base classes dropped, I still had access to the Xanathar's subclasses and now had them in the 2014 base classes and the 2024 base classes. I can play a 2024 grave cleric with no issue, for example. However, despite me having bought the Tasha's bundle after the Xanathar's bundle, I can't use the content from that with 2024 classes- it just won't show up at all. Am I missing something? Was the refresh of Tasha's published more recently than Xanathar's and that's why my previous purchase isn't compatible with 2024? I just want to make sure this isn't a bug or something because I had hoped to make a Clockwork Soul sorcerer with the 2024 version of the class and it didn't appear as an option.
Legacy - No longer printed content (such as Volo's Guide to Monsters) and charity content (such as One Grung Above)
Partnered Content - Content that isn't exclusively WotC IP. This includes 3rd party publications such as Drakkenheim and Grim Hollow, as well as content produced in partnership between WotC and another company, such as Critical Role content.
In order to make a character, you must enable enough options to provide everything needed for that character. Usually it's best to enable at least one Core Rules toggle
That's the problem- I do have Expanded Rules enabled. Homebrew, Core, Expanded, all of it. Everything is checked, and yet Xanathar's shows up for both 2014 and 2024 and Tasha's only shows up for 2014.
EDIT: Nevermind, I figured out the issue. I was only testing with Sorcerer, and none of its subclasses from Tasha's Cauldron have been updated for 2024 yet.
In general, if you're making a character with a 2024 class, you can't use the 2014 versions of subclasses that have been updated in the 2024 rules.
Clockwork Sorcery is one of these. If you want to use the 2024 Sorcerer class, you have to use the 2024 version of the Clockwork subclass, which is included in the 2024 Player's Handbook. If you don't own that book, you can't build a character like that. You can still use the Tasha's version of Clockwork Soul with the 2014 Sorcerer class.
Subclasses from Tasha's that haven't been updated for 2024 (e.g. Rune Knight Fighter, Phantom Rogue) should still be usable with the 2024 classes.

Actually they have—Tasha's featured two subclasses for sorcerer; Aberrant Mind and Clockwork Soul. Both of these were reprinted with updated versions in the 2024 Player's Handbook as the Aberrant Sorcery and Clockwork Sorcery subclasses. Because 2024 versions of the subclasses exist, the 2014 versions don't get "carried over" like other subclasses that haven't had 2024 versions printed yet. This follows the guidance for combining 2014 with 2024—use 2024 versions where they exist, otherwise use 2014 versions as you please.

You need to enable Expanded Rules. Here's what all the options do:
