I'm finding problems with the monster stat blocks from Monsters of Drakkenheim. When looking at certain abilities that involve the new conditions introduced by The Monsters of Drakkenheim, it gives a "link removed" along with the link address.
The couple I spot-checked seemed fine, but if you know of any specific statblocks with this issue, I’d be happy to pass that on to the devs for review.

So for me, this problem still happens. If you have a stat block open on its own page, it's fine, but if you're in either the original Encounter Builder or Maps VTT (which I personally don't use, but I did check), then yeah, you get a "link removed" and then the link. Looks like this:
Instead of looking like this (and functioning as a hyperlink):
"While Blinded, the target has the Immobilized condition."
Super frustrating. On some level, I kind of understand the reasoning behind not allowing external links to homebrew in stat blocks, but this is partnered content. They're not external links, they open the D&D beyond version of the book. So ideally you should be able to open the links in the stat blocks, and the stat blocks should function in the encounter builders, right?
Anyway, I came here because I was looking to see if anyone else had pointed out this issue. Is it a bug on my end? Is it just like this? Is there any point in making a support request about it?
For what it's worth, this also seems to be the case with stat blocks from Flee, Mortals! and the other MDCM books. For example, from the Servok Builder stat block:
My guess is that it happens with other books, too. I'm not a coder, but it seems like whatever is used to enforce the "no external links in stat blocks" rule is also over-zealously targeting links in official stat blocks —> official sourcebooks. In the case of conditions, etc, that aren't part of the core rules and therefore don't have an existing Tooltip, you're screwed, because even when a link leads to an entry or chapter in the official dndbeyond book that the stat block comes from, the link gets removed. So you end up with a cluttered stat block and sprawling links that have to be copied and pasted if you want to view the condition or rolling table or whatever it happens to be.
I also don't really understand the point of removing links in the first place, at least in the case of private, unpublished homebrew—if no one is ever going to see a homebrew stat block except me, its creator, then who are the links hurting? It's already not possible to publish homebrew with external links, so why bother also removing links in Encounters/Maps VTT when by definition any homebrew stat block that includes external links must be private?
Maybe I'm missing something obvious, and I apologize if any of this comes off as rude. I'm mostly just rambling into the void because I'm tired and frustrated and would love to see things working better.

ModeratorThe new conditions linked in those two statblocks all work fine for me. 🤔
What address is it trying to take you to?

I really appreciate it, thank you!
