I think something is messed up with my dndbeyond account.
Just now. I created a new character, from scratch, not based on or copied from any other character, as follows. 1. Enable only core and expanded rules. 2. Add three levels of artificer. Select Armorer subclass.
Next, do just enough to be able to view the character sheet. Select species (dragonborn), Ability score generation method (point buy, but no points),
Go the char sheet.
Go to spells. There are already 3 spells there, but I haven't picked any: Dex's Wet Blanket (homebrew cantrip), Magic Missile, Thunderwave. I suspect the latter two were also homebrew, maybe to make them artificer spells.
I'm sure I created those for some campaign, but I should not have been able to affect core classes and subclasses. But there we are.
My homebrew has two copies of Dex's Wet Blanket (one public, one private), but no sign of the others.
If this is a known issue please point me in the right direction. I've had situations where this caused embarrassment.
(Just had an idea for a stopgap...customize them to erase their names.)
Magic Missiles and Thunderwave are correct for a 3rd-level armorerer, per their Armorer Spells feature.
The third does sound like an issue with the homebrew itself. The creator likely put that subclass in the spell’s “Available for Class” field. They’ll need to either remove the subclass from that field, or remove that spell from their collection.
TITLE SHOULD SAY "CHAR", NOT "CHAT".
