In a campaign I'm in i noticed that while going through my ability scores that the bonuses to DEX and Wis from the Aarakocra race are not applied to the character. In the Aarakocra detail page it says the race adds +2 to Dexterity and +1 to Wisdom but when looking at the Ability modifiers it says "Aarakocra Bonus +0"

If you're using a 2024 background, you get ability score bonuses from your background, not from your species.
