I'm trying to add a Tentacle Rod to a character's inventory and I can't.
It doesn't appear when I search for "tentacle" or "rod", or even just filter by "rod". I have tried using the character sheet and character builder inventory options and it didn't work in either option. I've tried upper-case and lower-case "T" and nothing. Nothing seems able to make it appear
It appears in the DMG, and I can find other magical weapons, items, and specifically rods, but not the tentacle rod.
The Basic Rules do not include the Tentacle Rod, though. For that, you’d need to buy the DMG yourself, or have this character assigned to a campaign where that book is shared with you.

ModeratorThe items you do see are likely the ones from the Basic Rules, which includes a subset of items from the DMG.
