Issue discovered: Tested with two characters. When leaving the character creation campaign, characters lose subclass-granted spells that are not part of the Core Rulebook spell list if the player only has access to the Free Rules.
Steps to reproduce:
Create a character using an account that only has access to the Free Rules.
Join a campaign that has access to the full 2024 Player’s Handbook.
Choose a subclass that grants additional spells witch are not part of the free rules (tested with Aberrant Sorcery and Great Old One Warlock).
Complete character creation and exit the campaign.
Observed result: The character loses subclass spells that are not part of the Core Rulebook (e.g., both lost Hunger of Hadar, Sorcerer keept Dissonant Whispers).
Expected result: Subclass-granted spells should remain available to the character even after leavin campain, regardless of ownership of the full ruleset.
Additional note: If the spell (Hunger of Hadar) is added manually via the prepared spell list (tested with Warlock), it remains correctly.
This appears to be an ongoing but intentional setup. A number of people have reported missing spells similarly. Essentially, if you don't have access to the PHB, you can't fully play subclasses from the PHB.
