Just noticed that spells like Absorb Elements, Kinetic Jaunt, Air Bubble, and Vortex Warp. These are great spells from source books like Strixhaven, Spelljammer, or Xanathar's Guide to Everything. Not sure if this is an oversight. Xanathar's says it is compatible with the 2024 edition and Tasha's Cauldron supposedly does the same but the Artificer spell list has been lobotomized and lost some really excellent spell choices. It would be nice if they were brought back into the fold.

Any spell that was published outside of the 2014 PHB, Xanathar's, and Tasha's is bugged if it isn't reflecting on the 2024 Artificer. The spells from Xanathar's were called on by the version of Artificer printed in Tasha's, so those spells would need to be called on again by the new Artificer to be eligible. But any spell outside of those books that states it's available to the Artificer (such as those from Strixhaven) are bugged until added to the 2024 Artificer, as they aren't affected by the new printing.

That answer is very non-committal. Will the spells be added as an errata or are artificers just hosed?
Do I look like an authority on the matter? I have no inside information. I'm only stating what the correct path forward would be from WotC.

ModeratorAny spell whose own description adds them to the Artificer spell list has been added. This includes spells printed in TCOE, SACOC, FTOD, and SAIS.
