i notice the spells are not being added to my prepared spell list nor is the spell slot added that im suppose to get with the feat, im also noticing weird issue with the character im using which is an artificer Cartographer and where im suppose see the calculated amount i can make the maps under feat adventure atlas it gives an error "1+modifier:int@min1 - Unknown value modifier type: min1." which im not sure what thats tied too creating that error my theory is the poten dragonmark but i do know the count of course
The feat is simply not showing up as a selectable option at all for the Warforged Artificer (Armorer) I am building - with the Cannith Heir background, and Greater Mark of Making Feat.
... however, the effects/benefits are still not applied to the character: he doesn't get the +1 to his spellcasting attribute as expected, nor are the spells for his Mark counted as "always prepared".

I have a player I am trying to help in my game. They have Mark of Sentinel and Potent Dragonmark feats selected and on their character sheet. Wisdom is selected for the Potent Dragonmark stat, but it does not adjust in their Wisdom total (Mark of Sentinel does). It also does not add the spells from Mark of Sentinel to their list of prepared spells, as it should once they select Potent Dragonmark. Am I doing something wrong or reading it wrong?
I don't think you're doing anything wrong or reading anything wrong. The Potent Dragonmark feat is not working properly right now; people have reported a variety of issues with it in the support thread for the new release.
Unfortunately, since it's a holiday weekend in the U.S., we're not likely to see any further fixes for any of these issues until at least Monday.
So It doesn't appear that anything attached to the Potent Dragon Mark feat seem to be working.
The extra stat tied to the original dragon mark's casting stat doesn't seem to apply The spells don't seem to be added to the prepared spell list Nor does the limited use spell slot seem to work (although the single use spell slot on the base dragon mark doesn't appear to be working either)
There has been talk about this issue elsewhere but I didn't see anything on these forms (sorry if it is already here and I missed it)

I am noticing a similar issue but with a warforged, house cannith artillerist instead
Potent dragonmark does not give a +1, and does not prepare any spells.
... and I think I understand why, at least for my own character: The prerequisites are screwed up!
I went digging to find Potent Dragonmark under "Manage Feats" when viewing (not editing!) the character sheet; it is listed under "Unavailable" at the very bottom.
And ... Aberrant Dragonmark is listed twice in the prerequisites. You can see it in the image at this link: https://imgur.com/m3WQfEc
I wonder if that double listing is preventing it from registering as a legally-obtained Feat, somehow?
I’ve noticed that potent dragonmark seems to add the +1 attribute properly when you add a greater dragonmark feat to match your origin feat first.
this may be what they intended, as then the implied singular attribute gained from your dragonmark feat is one you picked yourself, rather than one of the two added from your background.
The issue I have now is the extra spell slot added from potent dragonmark which would seemingly outpace the level spells artificers actually get.
Does anyone else have this problem? example:
At level 5 an artificer would have a level 3 spell slot added with the PD feat, but the class table itself only gets a level 3 slot at level 9.

That part is correct per the description of the feat. The spell slot's level is defined based on your character level and doesn't care about what class(es) you have.
Squeaky wheel. I'm adding my voice to the Potent Dragonmark problem, hoping the more of us complain, the more likely they'll move it up on the list of bugs to fix. I have a game this Saturday, and I really hope it gets fixed before then.

Potent Dragonmark is also not affecting spellcasting attribute which is why I'm here

FIXED: the feat is now selectable, huzzah!

Thanks. That is helpful to know.
Still not adding the spells as always prepared.

When there's a new release, they usually post a thread in the "Release Issues & Support" forum for it; it helps to put bug reports with the new release in that thread to make sure they get seen. For this book, that thread is here: https://www.dndbeyond.com/forums/d-d-beyond-general/release-issues-support/232861-eberron-forge-of-the-artificer-issues-and-support

I think it's just the feat Potent Dragonmark by itself not working. I'm trying Khoravar House Lyrandar Sorcerer with nothing being updated
Well, even though the feat shows up now ... it is not actually doing anything.
Not adding +1 to the attribute chosen for the original Mark.
Not adding the Spells of the Mark as "always prepared".
Not adding 1 spell slot to levels 1 through 5 to use with casting Spells of the Mark.
...
Basically, the text is all there, but it isn't doing anything. :/
It was just a holiday weekend, I hope these bugs get fixed ASAP though considering it was delayed, figured this at least wouldn't be an issue 😕
I can report the bug is still current.

The character I linked to above, does have the Greater Mark of Making.
PD still does not function correctly. :(
