The PDF export files produced from DnD beyond have a page 3 &4 designed for extra text for features and equipment. Unfortunately unless one is paying Adobe the fields on those two pages are NOT user editable. Either make them editable the way the rest of the pages are or delete them so as to avoid wasting the space.
You don't even need a PDF editor, really, since all of the pages (including 3 and 4) have form fields on everything. These work fine for me in the native PDF viewers in Microsoft Edge, Google Chrome, and Mozilla Firefox. Consider using one of these instead of Adobe Acrobat.

That sounds like an Adobe issue to me. Have you tried any of the free pdf editors?
