I recently started using the Maps VTT Beta, and I've noticed that the Battle Smith Artificer's Steel Defender (both 2014 and 2024), Beast Master Ranger's Beast of the Land/Air/Sea, and Drake Warden Ranger's Drake do not appear in the VTT as selectable tokens. This includes not being able to select them from the players list, the companions list, or the monsters list. All of their stat blocks are tied to features and/or actions in the character sheet. They do not appear in the Extras tab of the character sheet to have as proper companions in any form, thereby preventing anyone using the VTT from being able to properly display them on the battle maps.
Those creatures aren’t there because their stats depend entirely on your character. However, you could create it as a homebrew monster with the stats calculated for your own character if you want to add it to Extras. (If you just want to add it to Maps, all you need is a name and image.)
