I've just updated the artificer in my Eberron campaign to the new version of the class, and I've run into some problems.
1) He's an Armorer, but I can't select his preferred Armor Model in either the character builder or the character sheet. It says "Choose an Option", but there are no options to choose from.
2) The infusions-turned-magic items in Forge of the Artificer aren't showing up as options in the Replicate Magic Item choices. I can't select a Repeating Shot Weapon or a Returning Weapon or Boots of the Winding Path or a Manifold Tool, etc.
Did you purchase the book yourself? If so, is it listed ok that same page under Current Product Licenses?
If it’s shared with you instead, is this character assigned to the campaign that’s sharing it?
Do you still have Expanded Rules enabled for that character?
Yes, my account entitlements are in sync. Yes, I purchased the book myself, and it is listed on the page of Current Product Licenses. Yes, I still have Expanded Rules enabled. (Everything is enabled except Partnered Content.)
EDIT: I only seem to be having these problems when converting the existing character to the new artificer chassis. I just tried making a new PC and chose artificer and I *can* see the new magic items and select an armor model. How strange! I guess I'll have to recreate my player's character from scratch and then get him to claim the new one instead of the old one.
Yeah im having this issue now too and so is one of my players... Trying to change the subclass of his artificer and we can't change the armor model type. it's just stuck as "Select lvl 3 option"...
Apparently NOT. My player managed to find a work around, BY REMAKING THE CHARACTER SHEET FROM SCRATCH, then they could select a new armor. BUT ONLY ONCE PER SHEET! So now, if they want to swap artificer armors, THEY NEED TO MAINTAIN DIFFERENT SHEETS PER ARMOR SET!
You can. You can also change it by clicking on the Armor Model feature and using the dropdown there. I just tested it, it works. If you're in the app instead of the website, tap on Armor Model then, at the top of the screen, Manage Armor Model. The dropdown is there, has all the options, and functions.
That said: If the account does not own the book Eberron: Forge of the Artificer and the character isn't in a campaign where the content of that book is shared, they lose access to theoptions. I'd be willing to bet that's what's happening here.
Neither of those options were working before hand, and I don't like how this wasn't announced to have been fixed. AND IT STILL DOES NOT WORK! I'd post a screen cap If I could! but I cant here. (Going to post it elsewhere, and then the link to that screen shot, because IT DOES NOT WORK.)
I do not own that book, and im not buying the 2024 books because neither myself or my player wants them. And even then, my own artificers cannot change their armors. Neither of us have that book.

You might consider switching the character to use the old-style Artificer class from Tasha's Cauldron of Everything instead, if someone owns that book. You're never going to get the 2024 version to work if neither you nor anyone else in the campaign actually owns the book it comes from; you need to actually have access to the book to be able to use character options from it.
Wait wait wait. That screenshot shows 2014 Expanded Rules. This isn't even related to the current thread.
However, the issue is the same: The character needs to be on an account that owns, or in a campaign that has shared, Tasha's Cauldron of Everything. This is a book in the 2014 rules, but is the only option to have a fully-functional Armorer Artificer in the 2014 rules. (Artificer came out in Eberron: Rising from the Last War, but only had Alchemist, Artillerist, and Battle Smith.)
Without having access to the subclass via owning or sharing, the options will not populate for any that aren't already selected.
Yeah so I own both the 2014 and 2024 artificer content, and even when I try to create an artificer of my OWN it doesn't work, let alone for a player with whom I share my purchased content (Master Tier subscription)
This isn't a purchased content issue, this is functionality. What is DnDBeyond doing about this?

That's strange, both work for me, both with this and my alt account (used for testing primarily). This account owns both, alt used sharing. So it's inconsistent. There's gotta be something about your method causing it. Got any replication steps?

Has someone looked into this issue yet?

You ever inform anyone that it isnt fixed yet???
I think if you go to the manage XP and levels you can change the armor type there.
