I joined a campaign my brother started. When I logged in today I couldnt find it and my character for the campaign is missing, I still have my other character I made. When I try to rejoin my brothers campaign I cant select my old character.
It sounds like you've got two accounts, and which one you use depends on which external site you use to sign in with.
When you view the campaign, you should see a user name on each character in the campaign. See what user is listed for yours. I'm guessing it's not going to be "drizzt8886"
If you do have two accounts, and you haven't bought anything with either account, then it's possible to untangle it on your own -- characters can be unassigned within a campaign, and then claimed by the other account.
Consolidating the login methods if you want to is not that much more difficult -- it requires creating an extra external account to attach to the DDB account you're getting rid of, then unlinking the login method you want to keep, and then linking it to your real DDB account. (I believe that getting rid of the unwanted DDB account requires customer service's assistance.)
