I just created a new character, A human warlock with the subclass great old one. I picked the pact of the tome invocation.
- I dont see the lvl 1 rituals of the pact of the tome on my character sheet, only onder the tab features & traits. I do see the cantrips under the spell tab.
- I only see half the great old one spells. I see Detect Toughts and Phantasmal Force, but not Dissonant Whispers and Tasha's Hideous Laughter.
Is this a bug or?
Thank you
Niels
Edit: "Show Level-Scaled Spells” fixed the problem.
For the record, you pretty much always need to have "Show Level Scaled Spells" turned on for a Warlock character, at least once you reach level 3. Since you don't have any lower level spell slots, spells of a level below your spell slot level won't appear otherwise.
I was confused as well, but this is the key paragraph from Player's Handbook:
Spell Slots. The Warlock Features table shows how many spell slots you have to cast your Warlock spells of levels 1–5. The table also shows the level of those slots, all of which are the same level. You regain all expended Pact Magic spell slots when you finish a Short or Long Rest.
For example, when you’re a level 5 Warlock, you have two level 3 spell slots. To cast the level 1 spell Witch Bolt, you must spend one of those slots, and you cast it as a level 3 spell.
So as Wagnarokkr pointed out, you need to keep Show level-scaled spells option on your char sheet always on.
