So, I'm seeing a couple different descriptions of the tough feat. One says that when you take it, it adds double your level in hp. But on my character (which is level one, transitioning to lvl 2) it describes the feat as giving 4 hps at the start, then +2 every level thereafter. So my ranger (D10 hd+ 17 con (+3 bonus) + 4 for tough) stared off with 17 hp, and for level 2 it appears it should max at 32 (d10 +3 con bonus, + 2 tough+ previous 17) But the calculator only gives him a max of 30 hp at lvl 2. Granted, this is already a lot of hp for a level 2 ranger, but I want to make sure the calculator is accurate. If the original feat description is correct, then he should only have had 15 hps max to start, then 30 for lvl 2. I don't know if having the farmer background (how I got the feat) makes any difference.
Not sure where you're seeing the desciption that adds 4 HP, but that is incorrect. At level 1, your max HP should be 15.
Origin Feat Your Hit Point maximum increases by an amount equal to twice your character level when you gain this feat. Whenever you gain a character level thereafter, your Hit Point maximum increases by an additional 2 Hit Points.
