I have updated three of my subclasses with altogether minor updates. These three subclasses have in the past been perfectly able to be submitted to the public, but now they are met with the error message:
"This homebrew Subclass does not have the necessary class features with the correct required levels."
This simply is not true. I have made dozens, maybe hundreds of homebrew subclasses at this point and have made them published to the public by knowing and following the required class and subclass feature levels. So far, the issue (bug) is affecting Cleric subclasses and Warlock subclasses -- I am unsure if any other classes are having such an issue.
This is a thing they break every few months or so. It's not really clear why it keeps happening.
Sometimes it's possible to work around it by adding dummy features at certain levels. In some cases it's been helpful to add dummy features at the levels that would be expected for the other version of the class (i.e., 5e vs. 5.5e) while in other cases adding a dummy feature at level 1 has helped regardless of the class involved. In some cases neither of these things work and you just have to wait for them to fix it again.
Yeah, I've had it happen as an issue once or twice before. I figure it might help to wave and flap about a little bit to maybe bring their attention to it, I dunno. Can't hurt right? We'll see if the funky loopholes work this time, otherwise I'll have to grumble and wait, I guess.
First: those warnings only matter if you want to publish it for the global community. If you just want to use it in your own games, it’s shared with your campaigns automatically and can be used as-is.
If you actually do want to publish, though, you can try hitting that main save button again to retrigger the validator.
If that doesn’t do it, I’d view the subclass and check which icon it shows at the top: the 5e or 5.5e class. Both Cleric and Warlock require different levels in the two versions.

They're all three definitely 5.5e, though that does make me wonder if the bug is related to the difference in subclass feature levels between 5e and 5.5e. Then again, I have had no issues with Sorcerer so far, so who really knows?
I'll give the save button thing a shot. Otherwise I'll just be patient and wait, as I do very much enjoy publishing my stuff to the global community.
