When I add spells to my spell casters (not sure about half casters as i don’t play them) and exit the character or look at the character sheet. They don’t appear in the spells or actions section of the sheet. When I go to manage spells, the spells I’ve selected don’t work. It happens in safari and mobile
Changing the damage type of a spell is the simplest way of making a spell choice "click" for a player character.
Even if you changed every single spell's damage to Force - the least resisted damage type in 5e - for some weird reason, you could still have an enjoyable game experience, because when you took the step of changing a spell, you can also change a creature's resistances.
character creator doesn’t save spells after selecting them

ModeratorCan you be more specific? What spell did you select, and where?
Do you get the same issue in another browser or on another device?

It's never an issue for me personally.
It isn’t a problem with the spells the spells I select don’t transfer to the character sheet
After selecting, did you prepare and learn them? For some casters they need to be learned to see them on your sheet. (e.g. Wizard.)
If it looks like a duck, swims like a duck, and quacks like a duck, then it probably is a Mimic.
