Subscribed, but when I try to use any perks it just asks me to subscribe again.

What it says in the title. I'm a Master Tier subscriber as of like 10 minutes ago, but then I went to access the spells that were just released and it just asked me to subscribe.

Make sure that the site think's you're subscribed. (Manage subscription in the dropdown menu.)

Check if the payment's gone through.

Check your entitlements.

If those don't fix it, you may have to contact support.

Go here and see if it says your entitlements are out of sync. If so, click the button there to sync them, and then try again.

Sometimes purchases made on the marketplace site don't immediately sync up their licenses to the rest of the system.

Also, if you weren't subbed the first Thursday of the month, you don't get the Drops. Even under the Perks system, this was the case.

I don't have any way of verifying this myself since I was subscribed on the first Thursday of the month, but this is definitely not how they've said it works. The announcement of D&D Beyond Drops stated that when you subscribe you will have access to all previously unlocked content right away. This is a departure from how the monthly perks worked, but it's what they announced. See here.
