I have been trying since the first play along pack released but I am unable to download the pack in the app to view offline. Is this just me, or is this a known issue.

Also having this issue as well. And the sithicus pack that came with pre-order of ravenloft is also doing it.
Same. And there's no way to "undownload" it or start over in any fashion. And there's not a way that I've found yet to fix it either in the DDB app or website (which, in a browser, doesn't require the download).
Avid DM and D&D player since the late 80s (with a gap in there for 3rd and 4th editions).

With the DDB update I just synced right now the download works... but FYI there appears to be blank "pages" between every section.

What update do you mean? How did you fix it exactly or do youbonly talk about the Webseite?
I was told to just delete the app and redownload everything
I'm having the same issue. And had the same problem with the sithicus download. Sithicus has since been patched and works now but the play along still has problems. I've deleted the app and redownloaded everything to no avail. I'm using android devices.
This happens pretty regularly with some new content. Tends to get fixed in 1-2 weeks usually. Give it some time and try redownloading the update next week.
