Hello, one of my players at one point had taken the tough feat but then decided to go with alert instead. The feat is gone, but her character has kept the HP boost. Could someone get this fixed for us?
Do you perhaps also have Tough from your background? (The Background tab is hidden when other users look at the sheet, so we can't tell which Background this character has.)
It's a custom background the player wanted. Initially it did have tough on it. But it was removed, but the HP bonus persists.
Is it a custom background (which you define on the background tab in the character builder) or a homebrew background (which you create in D&D Beyond's homebrew tools)?
If it's the latter, changes to those can take some time to actually show up on the character sheet.
Either way, you might try removing the background entirely, putting a different one on, and then going back to the original one.
Yes, it's homebrew. The player wanted a specific Cartographer's apprentice background. I basically recreated it again and swapped them out. Giving it time to correct hopefully. Thanks for the help.
If you check their character settings, is Hit Point Type set to Fixed? If it's Manual/Rolled, you can either switch it back or head to the Class tab and click Adjust HP to enter the correct value.

Thank you In advance. 🙂
P.s. trying to take the tough feat now, which I thought might jog the sheet and get rid of it, now displays an error.

I just checked and it's fixed. It says this under manage HP:
Hit Point Bonuses
+1 from Constitution
+2 from Tough

ModeratorVery strange. 🤔
Does leveling the character up and back down change anything? What about copying the character?
