Players Handbook misprints

I am new to DnD and recently bought a Players Handbook to help learn the rules before joining a group. Today trying to work out how to build a character I discovered 4 pages at the back missing and 4 pages repeated I then flicked through to find another misprint of four pages duplicated and four missing . Was there a recall I have missed? And is there a reliable source to get a correctly printed book?

That's the sort of error that happens from time-to time in printing; there's no recall because it'll have only happened to a few books. 

Odds are good that, if you contact support, they can arrange to send you a replacement. Odds are also good that the store you got it from will also do the same, and they'll probably be faster than D&D support.
