This damage increases to 9d6 if the affected creature is submerged in a liquid.
At Higher Levels. When you cast this spell using a spell slot of 4th level or higher, the damage increases by 1d6 for each slot level above 3rd.
if you have a 5th level spellslot (warlock) - the shown damage is for both 9d6 .
The "submerged in water" dosnt go up
