Pretty persistent issue I have when working with the homebrew pages. Using chrome and happens across a couple different computers.
Basically, the pages time out and often lead to the 404 Not Found error page when I attempt to make saves. If I leave the page sitting there without saving for any more than 5ish minutes, it will probably happen. I've lost tons of time typing out homebrew for items, classes, etc. because I have to hit the save button compulsively every 60 seconds or so or else I risk losing everything I just did.
This has been persistent over, well, since I started using homebrew like a couple years ago. Does this happen to anyone else? Any workaround other than compulsively saving every time I make a change?
This is becoming a ridiculous problem and appears to be one a lot of people have commented about with, from what I have seen, no response from the devs. I cannot even search a simple item on homebrew to see if someone has already created it without running into the beholder. I've tried multiple computers and done all the various suggestions to make it work and it is the same crap. Based on what I have seen others saying this feels like a way for DNDBeyond to force people away from homebrew and into purchases. Opinion but one i feel is backed by the lack of response from DNDBeyond about fixing the issues at hand. I waste more time on the web page timing out from a search than actually inputting or working on my players stuff. Wouldn't be as much of an issue if we played in person but most of our table is long distance so pen and paper magic items only work so well.
