I was working on a homebrew background/feat for a player of mine to change a certain ruling and in the process ended up deleting the feat from my homebrew collection before removing it properly from the players sheet and now it is permanently stuck there under the context of "Content Not Found" whenever I click on it.
I have attempted to restore the feat and delete it once restored but it only requests I add that same feat back to the character, which only crashes the sheet itself. I've tried other ways of helping it get removed including forcing a reset via turning homebrew on and off as well as forcing a level up and down. However, anything I have tried, doesn't seem to work. I have also waited for the cache to reset during the 20 minute or so interval which also hasn't help solve the problem.
If anyone has any other advice on how this could possibly be fixed or if a moderator is also able to help out in some way, it would be greatly appreciated. (I could make a copy of the sheet, but the player has sentimentality towards the current one they are using, thus I am hoping this is fixable.)
But I’d just have the player go to My Characters and click Copy for that character. Hopefully the copy won’t have the same issue. Worst case scenario, though, I’d just manually rebuild the sheet; it’s the next quickest solution.
