Tokens in VTT not showing on Brave browser

The virtual tabletop works fine on the DM's end. However, no tokens are visible to a player using the Brave browser, even with shields down and cookies enabled. The player is able to see tokens when using another browser.

Just noticed I'm not seeing any tokens on my maps in Brave at the moment in either DM or player mode. Some stickers are showing up, but the player and monster tokens don't show and trying to add new ones results in nothing appearing either.

why is this happening? i always use brave for my dming and its not showing ANY tokens? does anyone know why or heard from the devs

yes. this happened to one of my players tonight. it seems that he has brave, and it worked 2 weeks ago.

same problem here, both dm and player mode. Started a few days ago. :/

I started one of my weekly games today and could not add ANY tokens to a map in Brave. Had to switch to Chrome. No issues last weekend so its new for sure.

If it works for other browsers, have y'all contacted Brave?  It sounds like it may be on their end.

Hi, the same thing happened to us today, I (DM, Chrome) was able to see all tokens properly and a couple of players using Brave couldnt see any tokens on the map.

Same thing happened to me. Worked fine on Brave before the most recent update but now I can see stickers and drawings but not tokens. I'm using Edge and it works fine on there but I'd rather use my primary browser

the same thing happened to me today as well. it was my first time using DNDBeyond's VTT and Brave is my default browser. i tried disabling shields and clearing the cache/cookies and that still didn't fix the issue. the site worked for me when i switched to Safari but i would much MUCH rather only use Brave.

has anyone contacted Brave directly about this?

eta: i just submitted a ticket to Brave Browser help so if anyone else is having this issue on MacOS, you should reply to my ticket. if you're having this issue on a different operating system, i'd recommend submitting your own ticket for this problem just in case.

Maybe turn off Brave's crypto aspects, if they're still in there and/or on.

The site blocks crypto from the interactions that would happen.
