3rd Party Content: Not Always Showing in Search Results

Greetings D&D Beyond,

Yesterday I tried to find information about the Gloomstalker from Critical Role's Call of the Netherdeep book.

Then, this morning I was trying to find information on the Shadow Step Spell from Darington Press' the Book of Ebon Tides.

Neither of these items would appear in Search Results.
I checked the books, and both are 'shared with me'.

Is the fact that the books are shared with me the reason that the results do not show correctly in the results, or is it because they are both from 3rd Party Publishers?

Either way, not having the Search function of the site working correctly is frustrating, so I wanted to let you all know :)

The main search thing excludes all third-party content. This is apparently intentional. I'm not sure why, and I don't think it's a particularly good choice, but it's what we have to live with.

You can search for things like that using the specific listings pages (Monsters, Spells, Magic Items, etc.) but you'll need to change the "Partnered Content" filter in the advanced filters.

Thanks Wagnarokkr, I was unaware of this as I don't deal with 3rd party publications very often.

It surprises and annoys essentially everyone the first time they hear about it. That's how you know it's a great feature!
