For some reason, 5.5 True Strike doesn't have an attack roll button for proficient weapons (and isn't included in Attacks on the character sheet, or the available weapon to even use) can someone please fix it
This is one of those things they've said they can't currently support, but should be possible with the new version of the character builder they're working on. The current system doesn't have any way for a spell to select a weapon to use when casting it, as spells that do that didn't exist when it was designed.
The way to solve this is to make a custom attack for each of the weapons you plan to use with True Strike. I usually name them "True Strike Dagger" or whatever. Note that you'll need to still have the regular attack around on melee weapons for use for opportunity attacks, which cannot use True Strike.

This will work to some degree, though once you get past level 5 (where True Strike starts adding d6s to the damage) it won't be possible to do a single custom action that gets the damage roll right for all weapons. This is because the dice rolling buttons on the character sheet don't support multiple die types in the same roll. If your weapon's damage die isn't a d6, you'll have to use two separate custom actions for the normal damage and the extra damage from the spell.
I got so frustrated with this that I gave up on it entirely and just use physical dice for it now.
