This won't be a long post, but today I spent some time attempting to make a character with a homebrew subclass and a custom weapon. I ran into no less than ten individual problems trying to do this, because this website is filled with half-implemented ideas and glaring programming problems. You can't change the range on a melee thrown weapon, so it always shows 5/5. You can't add a Weapon Mastery to a weapon. You can choose it in modifiers, but it does nothing. I think the gaslighting is the worst part - claiming in the literal dropdown menu that it's a "feature" of the homebrew editor, but having no effect when you select it. Same issue with the Subclass - a thousand drop down menus with no guidance, playing trial and error with input boxes that may or may not even change anything on the document.
After hours of bouncing back and forth, trying to figure out what each input does (IF ANYTHING), I can safely say that this is the most frustrating experience I've ever had making a character. It convinced me to cancel my subscription, and you should too. Do yourself a favor and go back to pencil and paper, because this hack job can't even handle the RAW, let alone anything creative or interesting.
There's a saying where I'm from for corporations like Hasbro; "More money than brains." They bought up all the sheets, and now they've shit the bed.

Your poll is skewed, & your view is lacking context for WHY homebrew is why it is.
