One of the players in my campaign is having issues with accessing some shared content for some reason and I cant figure out why.
I'm a Master Tier subscriber.
I have content sharing enabled for the campaign.
All of my books are set to be shared.
I own all the books im trying to get her access to.
She's in my campaign.
Her character is claimed by her and active.
All content is enabled for her character in the settings.
She was trying to swap from the 5e version of Necromancer to the 5.5e version. I own Arcana Unleashed. If I go in to her character sheet, I can set her subclass to it myself.
I know she can access some shared content, she was able to take the Staff Expert feat at lv4 from the Frontiers of Eberron: Quickstone book. But she cant access all these shared subclasses for some reason.
Anyone have any idea what's going on? From what she's told me its the same on her PC and on her phone when she tries to change it.
(They'll sync on their own in time, but that'll let her speed up the process.)
She's been having this issue for almost a week now, I'll have her check, but I feel like it would have synced for her by now? She's been trying to get the subclass swapped since the book when up for early access from my pre-order.
I can manually change it for her, but I'm not sure if there's any other content she's missing because of this.
Just an update, she checked her entitlements, it says they're up to sync.
She can access some shared content but not all. It seems like it's specifically the Arcana Unleashed subclasses that she cant access. She can access the subclasses from other shared books.
She can access the spells from the book though. So she can add Battle Familiar, Disruptive Tune, Dueling Ground, and Uncertain Footing to her spell list, for example.
I dont understand how she'd have access to some of the book's content but not the rest.

It appears that under the hood, each thing (spell, feat, subclass, background, etc.) has its own access control defined for it, and some people's accounts having it wrong for some things and not for others is unfortunately a pretty common occurrence right after a new batch of things is released. The process for releasing new books seems bizarrely involved and complicated, and it's always a bit of a mess in the first couple weeks.

Here's pictures of her source settings and what the subclass options look like for me when I'm editing her sheet.

Could potentially try having the friend leave and rejoin the campaign the book is shared through and see if it can be resynced from there.
