For help with something like that, you'll need to be a lot more specific about what exactly the homebrew thing is and what you were doing (or trying to do) with it when the error message came up.
So the homebrew thing is a playable Velociraptor species. I was away for a few months and wanted to make a few tweaks to the species, but trying to visit the page or even look at the dropdown menu in my collection comes up with the error. I was still able to update my species how I wanted, but there's still no page for either the new version or the old one. The only way to look at the species features is through the character creator, while I can't actually pull up the page for the species.
It's been covering up my favorite homebrew creation. Is it just like that now?
Internal Server Error (HTTP Status Code 5xx, typically 500) is not anything you did. That is a software error that has not been handled on the server side and so the server can't complete your request and falls back to reporting a status like this.
Likely, the developers made a code change on the server software that now encounters an error when it processes the data of your Homebrew entry. Perhaps they are assuming they can apply some new formatting to a value used in the Homebrew that results in the error, perhaps they are assuming a value will always be present that is not present within the data for your Homebrew.
Either way, this is not an error you can fix. The Developers, if they can be made aware of this, will then have to either examine the logs, or recreate the error using your Homebrew's data to troubleshoot where it is causing the error in their code and create a fix for it.
Since you've posted your error here, they may be aware of it. Better would be to also submit a ticket on the Support site -
One thing to keep in mind is that, even if they are aware of the bug and know how to fix it, that does not mean they will priortize implementing that fix above other work they are committed to. That tends to affect a lot of Users of D&D Beyond. But, hopefully, it can be fixed and your access can be restored! Best of luck!

Is the species your creation?
-You can't make edits to anything that isn't your creation, including as a new version.
Does it show up in the My Homebrew Creations or My Homebrew Collection pages?
-If not, it no longer exists on the site.
Are you able to preview it from those pages?
It is my creation, and it shows up under my creations and collection, bu it doesn't let me preview.
