I made a campaign, with one of my players having the subscription. But it won't show the option to enable content sharing, do I- the owner of the campaign have to be the one to get the subscription or is my Fiend's subscription enough?

ModeratorAny Master Tier subscriber can enable it for a campaign, whether they’re the DM or a player. You’ll only see the button to do so if you’re a subscriber yourself.
Once it’s enabled, though, then everyone’s books get shared with everyone else.

Also, if they're already at the five campaign limit, it won't show the option.
Gotcha, so I have to be subscribed as well. Darn, why my currency gotta weaken like gojo turned into kit kat. . .

If your friend wants to enable it for your campaign, they can do so, but they have to be the one to do it.

I lost access to the co tent that was being shared with me does this happen if the person got signed out or anything?
Check your entitlements first.
Can you not read the books in question, or just not use them to build characters? If the latter, you have to be in the campaign in which they're shared.
Are you still in the campaign in which they were being shared?
If you are, the person who enabled sharing may have turned it off, had their subscription lapse, or left the campaign.
Or the people who owned the books may have left, if they were not the person who enabled sharing.
The books in the list no longer say shared with I can’t access books or the content
