When playing my Monday game I noticed when playing that my PC would suddenly begin to start stuttering and would lock up and become entirely unresponsive for a good 2-3 minutes. I suspected it was a memory issue so I watched my System Monitor on my second monitor for a bit and sure enough, I watch memory usage climb from around 20% utilization to 100%, filling my entire 32GB of RAM in the span of around 10 seconds.
At first, I thought it was related to the Beyond20 extension, so I uninstalled it. Then I suspected Roll20 itself, but managed to rule that out as well.
Eventually, I tested Firefox with ONLY my D&D Beyond character sheet open and no other extensions active. It happened again, multiple times within a 10-minute window.
I dual-boot Windows 10 and Linux and the exact same memory leak happens on both operating systems so I suspect it's something specific to Firefox, none of the other players I play with or my DM have this issue.I'm the only one that uses Firefox out of the 6 of us and I easily have the highest end system of any of us.
This has been a persistent issue for months and I can't find anyone else having a similar problem but after weeks of issues I finally narrowed it down to DnD Beyond specifically
