It seems the entry for the "Erupting Earth" spell doesn't account for the errata released here: http://media.wizards.com/2016/downloads/DND/EE-Players-Companion.pdf. It should read "At Higher Levels: When you cast this spell using a spell slot of 4th level or higher, the damage increases by 1d12 for each slot level above 3rd."
