I've been experimenting a bit with the homebrew engine and I stumbled upon something strange (or maybe it's by design):
If you create a Feat and create an Action to go with it, and give the Action Limited Uses but choose the Other reset type, there are no checkboxes to mark off how many uses are remaining. It simply shows as 3 Uses / Special on the character sheet.
I was planning on adding a Feat which gives a character a limited set of charges that could be used that does not reset upon a Long/Short rest.
I've been fiddling about with all manners of homebrew since, and discovered that the functionality works as indended on magic items.
Take the staff of charming for instance. It has 10 charges that are regained at dawn, and as such, are not automatically reset in the item, yet still show the checkboxes for charges.

Hi y'all.
