So I was making a subclass dedicated to one cantrip. I chose to make a sorcerer, and put can cast spells to off. But it can still cast spells? Why?(I didn't know where to put this.)
Because the spellcasting feature of a Sorcerer is hardcoded in the class, not subclass.
But then why is it an option?
For those subclasses that introduce a spellcasting feature when the class hasn't any, for example, Arcane Trickster.
oh, ok. Thanks. a little confusing, that's all.
