One of my players recently changed subclass from the UA Circle of Spores Druid to the GGtR one. I noticed the short text for the ability reads:
Halo of Spores1d4 necrotic damage
You can use your reaction on your turn to deal 1d4 necrotic damage to one creature you can see within 10 ft. of you if it fails a CON saving throw (DC 14).
Halo of Spores: 1 Reaction
But if you click it, it shows the correct text from the book:
Druid
Halo of Spores
Starting at 2nd level, you are surrounded by invisible, necrotic spores that are harmless until you unleash them on a creature nearby. When a creature you can see moves into a space within 10 feet of you or starts its turn there, you can use your reaction to deal 1d4 necrotic damage to that creature unless it succeeds on a Constitution saving throw against your spell save DC. The necrotic damage increases to 1d6 at 6th level, 1d8 at 10th level, and 1d10 at 14th level.
Halo of Spores: 1 Reaction
So the error is that the short text says you can use it on your turn (like the UA one), while the long text explicitly says it triggers when a creature moves into your space or starts its turn there.
You can use your reaction to deal 1d4 necrotic damage to one creature you can see and it moves into a space within 10 feet of you or starts its turn there, and it fails a CON saving throw
How about:
You can use your reaction to deal 1d4 necrotic damage to one creature you can see when it moves into a space within 10 feet of you or starts its turn there, if it fails a CON saving throw (DC 14)
I have bolded the suggested changes, just changing "and it moves" to "when it moves", and "and it fails" to "if it fails". What do you think?
Quick side note for Circle of Spores druids... When I export my character sheet (to PDF), Halo of Spores doesn't show up on it at all. If you view character in the DndBeyond website, it shows up just fine.
One issue I am having with the Halo of Spores is that it doesn't use the spell save DC in it's action section. The character has an item that raises spell DC (for example Moon Sickle, +1) but the Halo of Spores doesn't raise with it. Maybe I should also note this is for the TCE Circle of Spores.

This is fixed. Thanks.
Wow that was quick, thanks a lot filcat!
Just one small suggestion, I see the text now is:
