I'm trying to make a monk subclass, but for whatever reason dndbeyond says I wouldn't be able to publish it because it resembles the Circle of the Spores druid too much? I have no earthly idea how it's getting that. Could anyone have any insight?

Hey y'all, I'm Okashido and I'm super into D&D. I like making characters(to the point where I have a doc about 100 pages long filled with character ideas.), am an aspiring actor in college, and also consider myself a storyteller and actor at the table. I enjoy making characters with backstories and watching them play off of other people. I roll with the punches and am a great Improviser. I can DM, but think my strengths lay in being a Player most. Hope we can all have fun and maybe play some games.
I am aware that I don't need to publish it. The thing is the subclass is my attempt at trying to fix the Way of the Four Elements subclass by doing some heavy redesigning. So even if I wanted to, I know I wouldn't be able to publish it anyway and I would feel guilty of doing so. I still want to be able to share it with people though, as I think the changes I'm making are actually very good.

I don't know how to respond to this. The problem is you can't publish it. You know you don't need to publish it. You don't think you should publish it. But you want to publish it?
Were you able to fix the error with my suggestion?
Oh no, I was just sharing. I think the subclass deserves to be rebuilt, but I understand why people would be incapable of sharing their ideas on how to fix it here. Just trying to be friendly, not trying to correct you or anything. You did help, thank you.

It is caused by the subclass description being too short. Change the descriptions and click save.
If that doesn't work post a link to the subclass so a mod can check.
Also, you can use a homebrew subclass even if it isn't published.
