When adding an existing character to a campaign, the incorrect one will be added. This occurs under these specific circumstances.

There are other characters with the same name as the one you are trying to add.

The character you are trying to add is not the oldest of those with the same name.

It appears that no matter which you pick, the oldest character with the same name is selected.
