I assume this is a bug but I could be wrong and just wanted to raise awareness of it.
When creating a homebrew feat that has a prerequisite of a specific proficiency, you are unable to select a proficiency other than armour (heavy/light/medium). I was planning to create a feat that had a prerequisite of proficiency in a kit/tool however the only thing I could pick were the different armour types.
DDB basically only adds homebrew options as official content comes out that needs that option (though there are still some options in use not available to homebrew, and some options official content needs that hasnt been added yet). So far the only proficiency prerequisites that official feats have need is armor.
Maybe this will be addressed when the homebrew system is revamped.
I've started to work out a number of cool ideas in DDB, and then given up trying because of the gaps and restrictions. But I get it. There's tension between what we, as players/GMs, would actually homebrew -- AT HOME, and what WOTC allows DDB to participate in. I can't help but let the frustration out sometimes.
I wish they could come up with some better compromise.
Just tried to create a feat with a skill proficiency prerequisite...
WHY ARE THE SKILLS NOT LISTED IN THIS LIST?
It's a list... add to the list, expand the Range of the list on the prerequisite page for subtypes to include the additions... and BAM! all the skills are included. Double check the logic for the check on the Character Sheet and we have Skill Proficiency Prerequisites for Homebrew Feats.

Hope this information helps,

Yeah. It's a problem. Not having the full list of 5e proficiencies on the list really hobbles homebrew feats in DDB.
Seems like it would be easy to fix...

I'm gonna hop on this bandwagon as well...
