Sorry if this has already come up, I did a search and didn't find anything so I thought I would ask.
I noticed that Wild Magic is missing in the builder when attempting to create a character. When I went to the Compendium I discovered it was not there either. Is this just a Beta thing or has Wild Magic been removed?
For the beta test, only material from the SRD and Basic Rules is available. The other official material will be added at the final release. The price for that is still to be announced.
I remember reading that months ago but then when I started seeing all the other races/classes/backgrounds appear I thought they were beyond that. I didn't realize all this stuff was still only SRD.
That's too bad. I was looking forward to being able to use this to track an existing character, but it's not much use without being able to add all the Wild Magic features. Guess I'll check back later!

You're welcome to stick around and help test D&D Beyond with other characters and offer feedback to help shape the product. :)

I know this thread is over a year old, and Dndbeyond has come very far in that time, however, I'm still having this issue. I bought the legendary bundle, and got the dungeon master subscription, do that I can share all of these books with my players. Still, too many things are missing for my players, even when I make the characters as unassigned.

Hey Jakman-- Could you be more specific about what is missing for your players, and/or link the effected characters? This may be helpful for the mods.
As some steps that may be helpful in the interim:
1) Have you turned on "Campaign Sharing"? A button should appear in the top-left corner of the campaign page for that campaign.
2) Are the players making their characters within the campaign where campaign sharing is activated?
As for what's missing, we've primarily found the sorcerous origins are missing. She's tried many times to make a wild mage, but there's always some kind of issue. A minor note was that the patrons for Warlock were also missing.
I've got some pretty lazy players, who often wait until the very last second to make their characters. So I made a mass of unassigned characters within the campaign, hoping that would allow them to gain access to all of the books I've bought. The aforementioned player tried to make her sorcerer, but only had draconic bloodline. Even when I went in and tried to change it, that was the only option.
I have made the unassigned character as she wanted, as if it was my own, and this seems to have fixed this. I have not yet tried the content sharing, I was unsure of what it meant, so that may be the entirety of my issue.

This would in fact be the culprit!
Purchased content is not shared unless you have Content Sharing enabled in a campaign. Once you turn that on, players in the campaign will be able to access the Compendium info you have purchased, and while using/making a character inside the campaign will be able to use that content in the character builder as well.

Thanks for the clarification!
