i need to turn some files into pdfs that are being sent to me i am trying to start a game with some slightly less tech savy people and they sent me the sharable link to there character sheet and not the actual pdf is there a way i can get the pdf from that?

I'd have imagined that sending you the digital link was more tech savvy, not less.
If you need to convert to PDF, press 'CTRL+P' to open a print window. For the 'Destination' or 'Printer', select 'Save as PDF'. Choose File Location to save document.
If you prefer the prettier format, have them open their character menu and choose 'Export Sheet' as seen in the attached image.
