I'm making an arcane trickster that can use a spellbook like a wizard but I don't see a way to implement the prepared vs known function in the spellcasting is it still not possible or am I overlooking something?
Spellbooks are a unique feature of wizards. There isn't a way to enable that for different classes.
The closest thing is to make all spells known then having them prepare spells similar to druid, cleric, and paladin.
