When I try and open or edit my characters I am seeing a lot of 500 errors. It happens about 70% of the time. Sometimes a character that won't open one day will be fine the next (but they are never all fine).
The best way for us to tell what is causing the error for you is to understand exactly what steps you have preceding receiving an error. If you receive another error, adding to this thread with the steps you were taking prior to it would be extremely helpful.
Though errant homebrew is most often the source of issues. Sometimes this occurs when the homebrew is on the character, and sometimes when you are attempting to add it to the character.
The only character that I can see a potential clear issue on would be Giovanni Capone. The Grasping Shortsword may have an error in the way the spell Grasping Vine was attached to it. If you can link the homebrew (it does not need to be published) I would be happy to take a look and see if my hunch is correct, and if so to walk you through the best ways to fix it.
