pretty much what the title says, one of my players sat down and made a character with me yesterday, and i just noticed it says he is only level two, when he is a Wizard 1/Fighter 1/Monk 1. here is a link to the character in question. https://www.dndbeyond.com/profile/Andellen/characters/13898501
It looks like the player has not increased their XP to match that they are level 3.
If you are playing with XP, you can have them add it by selecting "Manage Experience" in the drop down when clicking the character's name on the sheet. Once they update their experience, it should properly reflect.
If you are playing with milestone instead have them use the same drop down to choose "Preferences", and from there set "Advancement Type" to Milestone.
i noticed i could manually set the character to three. this problem was in creation, not afterward. we started with wizard, and then added one level each of fighter and monk classes, so it should have already been at 3 on its own i would think. if this behavior is intended, it seems a bit strange but i guess i can deal with it, if need be.

Hi Andellen,
This is specifically because the progression type is chosen as XP. Occasionally when you add additional levels or a new class (multiclassing) without adding XP to attain that level, you may need to adjust the XP. If you do, you'll see this mean-looking red arrow appear on the builder to indicate that you need more XP:

Hi,
You can click the character's name to bring up a drop-down menu, and click "manage experience" and manually set the level to 3.

okay. i can manage now that i realize that is what it means. thanks!
Maybe that means this should become a feature request of a mouse over tool tip for that red down arrow icon?
