I've been working on a cantrip that I want to operate as a line for range/area with a DEX save DC, however on my character sheet under Hit/DC it will only display +5 as a spell attack. I've checked my settings numerous times and made adjustments to things to try and find the culprit to no avail. I've even recreated the spell from scratch, had DEX 13 be displayed on my character sheet under Hit/DC, only to refresh the page minutes later and have it replaced by +5.
Has anyone run into this issue? Is this potentially a bug or am I missing/doing something that is causing it to read this way?
Ah yes, I suppose that would help wouldn't it? Lol, I apologize! Below I've linked the URL to my Homebrew spell, is that the correct URL or is there another way to sharing the spell?
I have been working on adding a spell and I can't seem to get the hit/DC or the damage to show on the character sheet. I've been dorking around with this for awhile and I can't figuire out what I"m missing. Can someone assist?

Open the Additional Information section on the homebrew's edit page. There you can select the Attack Type (melee or ranged), or if you want it to be Save-based, the Save Type. Then [Save Changes]. It may take up to 20 minutes for homebrew changes to propagate to the character sheet.

Click it. Customise. Check Show as Attack.

my friend, you're beautiful and i love you, this worked perfectly, ty
When you attack with the Sword, Giriko, you can use your Intelligence modifier, instead of Strength or Dexterity modifier, for the attack and damage rolls.

If you are asking if there is a build: yes, battle Smith artificer.
If you are asking if there is a customization option or homebrew effect: no (afaik). You can customize and add an additional bonus to hit and damage equal to the difference in these stats though. It doesn't update automatically, but it works.
If this is just for personal use, you can create a custom action for the weapon which lets you use any stat you want instead of Str/Dex.

Thanks in advance.
Try linking the spell. You dont have to publish it.
Hi Callikko,
As DxJxC notes, please share a link to your homebrew. A moderator will be able to review it and sort out what's not quite gelling.
Thanks!

I appreciate the responses!
Hi Callikko!
I see the issue.
In the additional details you have set an attack type (Ranged). Attack type is for spells with an attack roll. You should set this field to "-".
Hope that helps!
That did the trick! Thanks so much for the help, much appreciated!

Can you link to a character sheet that you're using to test the spell? That will let non-staff get a crack at the problem. (Full url, not share link.)
