So I wanted to create the homebrew and place it in my collection so i could then easily import it to my player's character sheet. I keep getting the following message:
This Subclass cannot be shared with the community for the following reasons:
This homebrew Subclass has data mapped to it that is licensed content or private homebrew. This typically occurs when licensed or private homebrew spells are linked to the Subclass.
Remember, private homebrew is automatically shared with other users in your campaigns and does not need to be shared with the community for players to access.
and I don't know what i'm doing wrong. Help would be greatly appreciated. Also, how do I add in domain spells?
You do not need to publish homebrew in order to use it in your private campaigns. Your private content is automatically shared. The user in your campaign will just need to turn the homebrew toggle 'on' in their character settings page.
You should never publish homebrew that contains content you did not originally create. Public homebrew is only to share your original content that you want the community as a whole to be able to use.
Now, the reason for this message is tied to the spells that you have added to the "Additional Specific Spells" field. Any content that is not from the Basic Rules/SRD free sources will not be eligible to be published to the public community.
One of my players wants to play a Zeal Domain Cleric from Plane Shift: Amonkhet. (http://dnd5e.*******.com/cleric:zeal) [link to source]

Even if I toggle The Homebrew option on I still don't see where I can add Homebrew things to characters I tried before nothing pops up.
Edit 1: I can make a custom background for a character I create. I don't have an option to add a custom subclass or a custom race.
Make sure the subclass is in your collection: https://www.dndbeyond.com/my-collection
Then with homebrew enabled, you should see it in the cleric's divine domain drop down.
