There is no indicator for advantage or disadvantage in the skills section (they really need to add it). It is a missing feature.

The workaround I use at the moment is to use the Customize option on that skill and add any text (I added "Sentinel Shield") in the Skill Magic Bonus section description (while leaving the bonus empty). In this way the skill bonus appears in blue in the list, and it reminds me that I have advantage in Perception.

I have a Sentinel Shield equipped, and while it is giving advantage to Initiative. It does not indicate advantage to Perception Checks
