I have made a Goliath Fighter. I get proficiency for Athletics from "Natural Athlete" from the Goliath race. I also get to select two proficiency's of which I chose Intimidation and Perception. But on the final character sheet it shows that I somehow have proficiency in Animal Handling.

And I have the Folk Hero (Animal Handling, Survival) background and no Animal Handling proficiency.
